Are there any constraints on a latex mask due to the properties of latex?

Latex masks that are used as props in acting

thanks for any helpAre there any constraints on a latex mask due to the properties of latex?
A small percentage of people have a serious allergy to latex, so always test people off the face, with a 1 hour contact, before fitting them.

If building a large structure (say, long spines on an alien head), you may need a superstructure to keep the design stiff.

another tip about latex, I've found it holds it's shpe better if apply latex, then press cheesecloth into the next several layers, and cover it with more latex. It make the finished procut stiffer, with out losing the benifit of latex. (just don't use more then one layer of Cheesecloth. It'll get too stiff
