How to make a latex mask?

I am starting to get interested in the art of mask making but i cant find a good detailed and illustrated tutorial of how you do this. could someone help me find a good tutorial? How to make a latex mask?
Latex molds and masks are built up by painting on liquid latex (Latex Molding Compound available at most hardware stores and craft stores like Hobby Lobby) in layers and letting it cure. They can be built on an approximation of a human face in plaster or plastic or on an exact mold of a person, the latter being used for stage and film makeup where the actor must make the mask expressive. Thickness can be added by building in urethane foam pieces for scars, thick brows. Once built the mask is peeled off (which limits what it is built on) and colored with stage makeup.

Take a look at web sites that return from 'moulage' which is the gel used to safely mold from faces or get books on stage and film makeup on line or at the library.
